KDLD/KDLE

Standard Contest Rules

1.         NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, SOME RESTRICTIONS APPLY.  By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by these official contest rules.

2.         ELIGIBILITY:

a.         Must be 18 years of age or older

b.         Must be a legal resident of the United States.

c.         Contestants may participate a maximum of one time during the entire length of any contest.  A maximum of one winner per household will be allowed for any contest.

d.         Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors and interns) who have within the past six months performed services for Entravision Communications Corporation or KDLD/KDLE or any affiliated organization (including affiliated advertising agencies or participating co-sponsor promotion patrons), or any immediate family members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter.

e.         Any contestant must be the participant who originally dialed the phone to KDLD/KDLE to participate or who originally entered via KDLD/KDLE website to participate.  No family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be allowed to participate in the contest on another person’s behalf.  The contestant must provide their own name and personal information.  If a person uses a false name or false personal information, they will be immediately disqualified from the contest and be ineligible to win any prize.

3.         HOW TO REDEEM PRIZES:  The winner or winners will be required to furnish legal proof of eligibility, including a valid driver’s license or California I.D. card and valid Social Security card, at 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 250, Los Angeles, California within 7 days of eligibility.  Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the name, photographs, voices and likenesses for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation to the winners.  Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release. 

4.         INDEMNIFICATION:  By entering the Contest, each contestant agrees to hold Entravision Communications Corporation, its affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies or participating co-sponsor/promotion patrons and each of their officers, directors, stockholders, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any claim, damage, loss or injury which may arise, directly or indirectly, as a result of any and all elements of such contestant’s participation in the contest or the acceptance or use of any prize(s) awarded therein.

5.         MISCELLANEOUS:  The Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the contest rules at any time.  The Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Contest rules.  The Sponsors are not responsible for technical telephone or internet difficulties experienced by any person attempting to participate in the contest.  All contestants understand and agree that contests requiring phone calls to the radio station or texts to a designated number may involve a fee required by their phone/text provider.  Sponsors are not responsible for the inability or failure of any winner to accept a prize for any reason.  Failure to collect the prize (or to be able to travel on the designated travel dates, if applicable) constitutes forfeiture of the prize.  If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of Entravision Communications Corporation.  Winners are responsible for the payment of all federal, state or local taxes associated with the prizes, if any.  The right to claim a prize may not be sold, traded or transferred, and prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash value.  Upon winning any prize from KDLD/KDLE, the household in question may not win another prize from KDLD/KDLE within a 30-day period from the first prize.  Upon winning a prize valued at $1,000 or more, the household in question may not win again within a 6-month period from the first prize.  The decision of KDLD/KDLE management in the interpretation of these rules and in case of dispute is final.  By participating, persons agree to and are bound by the decisions of the judges and these official contest rules.
